Arrays and plain string-keyed objects may recursively contain the same value
types. Numbers must be finite. Use bigint for exact integers outside
JavaScript's safe integer range; bigint values must be between
-9223372036854775808 and 18446744073709551615, inclusive.
JavaScript does not distinguish 1 from 1.0, so safe whole number
values are encoded as integers. Binary data, null, and class instances are
not system parameter values.
Ditto validates each parameter's name, expected type, and any declared
constraints when the Ditto instance opens.
